Question Droid X Goes To Stock Recovery After CWM Flash...Won't Install ROM

First off, I'm new here. I'm using a Droid X .605 on Gingerbread 2.3.3 (updated OTA). It's obviously been rooted, with OneClickRoot.

I'm trying to install the MIUI ROM on my Droid X, and I've followed all the steps. First, I downloaded ROM manager, then flashed ClockWorkMod 5.0.2.0. I have a .zip of the rom on my SD card, and I've made sure the SD card has been mounted. I select a ROM to install, and select all options that come afterward. Then it prompts me to reboot into CWM to start the installation.

The problem that follows is that instead of booting into CWM, it keeps booting into stock recovery. For three hours, I've been searching for an answer, but I can't find ANY. I know that there is one solution (deleting data from /preinstall), but I can't find any data there using Root Explorer Lite.

Every tool I'm using has Superuser permission. What am I doing wrong? Can someone please help me? You'll have to explain it in step format, because I only have a decent knowledge on how Android runs and works. Hope to get a lot of replies, and not end up with 100 views yet no replies.

If any additional info is needed, I will provide it.
    Thanks guys.

Do you have Droid 2 bootstrap?
Rom manager doesn't hijack the recovery

Just downloaded it now. All I need to do is tap "Bootstrap Recovery" right? I seriously don't want to damage any internal files. And is it confirmed working on Gingerbread? All threads about it seem to be two years old.
