Who has successfully used TBH from .602 to.340?

I haven't had any luck with this procedure. I have used TBH from .340 to .596. Going back has led to bootloops, followed by a classic SBF.

I know a lot of people have had this problem. I have seen a thread that someone has posted a step by step. I can't seem to find it.

If anyone has done this successfully, I would appreciate a step by step or direction to an explanation. It would be really cool, if one of the moderators made a team blackhat sticky....hint,hint. (smiling w/ wagging eyebrows)

Your title suggests you want to return from 602 to 340. But you specifically refer to tbh as if it is something to use. They are not an app, pecedure, or leak. They are a group of hackers that leak useful things. Your post discusses returning from 596, which would involve sbf that tbh leaked.

If you want help, it would be a benefit to be more clear on where you are and where you want to go.

I can TBH all in one from .340 to .596. I can not TBH all in one from .596/.602 to .340.

I know that there are those, who have. I know how to SBF. I am trying to learn another option.

I meant the team blackhat app. I was referring to their All in Ones.

This is what has worked for me:

    Boot into cwm recovery
    Scroll to mounts
    Format cache
    Format data
    Format system
    Mount cache
    Mount data
    Mount system
Back up one screen to Install zip
    Flash aio zip
    Wipe data/factory reset
    Reboot

You can also, after flashing the aio, restore a backup of your favorite rom for the appropriate base. This alleviates a lot of errors.

Again this is what worked for ME, and I cannot guarantee it will work on your dx.

I will have to give it a try. I never mounted system, cache, or data. I will test your method tomorrow night when I have time to SBF in case I run into difficulty.

    Thank You.

I believe the instructions, though limited in the tbh app, include the "mount" step but I could be wrong.

I think you are only supposed to have too mount the system, but I do them all as a precaution.

Hope it works for you. I get tired of hearing all of these people complain about tbh's work when it doesn't work for them.

I think there are a few people like yourself that have shared how they have managed to make it work. The problem is that often it's been lost in a thread whose topic is not team blackhat. That makes it hard to find. I tweeted team blackhat and have not had a response. I vaguely remember seeing something like you described when I first downloaded their app. Their faq doesn't cover how to use their app.

Although there is an amazing amount of talent such as the developers in the android community, most do not include detailed instructions or answers for common problems associated with their apps or roms.

I would gladly pay for their work once they release a finished product and give tech support. I do appreciate that many are doing this for free and have jobs, etc. I'm just complaining, because it's frustrating sometimes.

complaining aside, the android community and it's contributors are amazing. The developers are extremely generous with their time. The learning curve can be a hump. Gratefully, we do have these forums so that we can give each other support.
