I find the 3g Watchdog quite nice at keeping track of my data usage.
Cool. Quick question I just searched for the files using File Expert which can be used for rooted and non rooted devices. Should I specifically use root explorer??? Or will the File Expert or ES File Explorer work the same and still show the same files???
I'm not sure if those file extensions will only show on a file explorer specifically designed for rooted devices or not. Thanks in advance for response.
BTW I am running SSX 2.9 .605 build.
No- there's nothing special about Root Explorer over other explorers. It's just that if your phone is rooted, you can look at directory trees that non-rooted phones cannot.
If you aren't seeing those files, that zip likely removed them for you.
For Droid X2, Is the Radiocomm required to get Infrastructure Mode to work? I was able to root via Pete's Motorola Root Tools. Then use Wireless Tether and it works. Only thing I don't have is Infrastructure Mode, only Ad-hoc. I had a Droid X an used WugFresh method and worked like a charm with Infrastructure Mode. I upgraded to an Droid X2 and almost there, but would like to get Infrastructure Mode to work, but not sure I want to try the Radiocomm as it appears this only gives you the basic tethering capability, which I already have. Anybody have any ideas?
This is for Droid x correct? I did the OTA .605 and rooted. This is the right zip for me?

The best way I have found to tether on the DX2 is like this:
1: turn on mobile hotspot app
2: dial this, *#*#4636#*#*
3: click on phone information, scroll down and turn off radio
4: connect your device; we are not worried about the internet working yet just need to be connected
5: turn radio back on
6: may need to test the connection(like on my ps3) to get internet
7: now no more getting redirected to Verizon webpage for using the mobile hotspot app
8: this will need done every time you disconnect or turn off the mobile hotspot. Hope this helps
