It is surprising given the technology that there is no zoom option for video. I had a Palm Treo that allowed zoom in video (but only before you began recording). Seems like a step backward not to have it.

Dunno though, never tried it (and wouldn't really think to, honestly).

Quadrant score now in the mid 1300's. Up from the low 1200's.

The first think that I went looking for was a way to sort contacts by last name. I don't see it just yet (I had heard that this was supposed to have been addressed).

NOTE: After I agreed for the download I was queued up for about 20 minutes. During this time I had to leave my house (where I was WiFi) and drive to work which is when it started to actually download (over 3g). Just a note to keep an eye on for those that watch 3g time.

Download and install was successful! So far, everything is working fine.
I went to Market, and noticed now I can update ALL applications at once. I like this option.

With the fact that my camera button broke and I have to wait for a replacement, the on screen shutter control is a big plus for me.

I like the new camera features as well. Also for some reason the DX seems to be faster which is excellent. Love it so far! I have not found a glitch yet!

+1 regarding the on screen shutter control for the camera and video camera. Hopefully this will help with camera shake, and improve the quality of some of the pics. Haven't taken many since the update, but pics inside appear to be less grainy then they were previously, hopefully this was an improvement of the new OS.

Noticed a lot of improvements, the biggest is still the cut/copy from the mail client. You can cut/copy text from Gmail now, but that doesn't help with my exchange account. Really sucks ass when you need to copy some text but you f'ing can't. I know, I know you can if you're root and pay $5 bucks for the application, but I'm not going to root until I can do it via terminal emulator or one click.

Did anyone notice if you could now sort contacts by last name?
