    Data can't be turned off?

    I am having an issue with power control plus not turning off data. Is there a workaround for this or just something I have to live with?

    you can go into setting/battery and data manager, and there are options to conserve and turn off data.

    are you having issues with something that made you want to turn off data?

    No issues really. I have automate it set to turn off data and wifi when I turn the screen off. I have power control plus data toggle on my homescreen but when I press it a toast pops up saying data cannot be turned off. Is this an issue with power control plus trying to change apn settings?

    must be an issue with gingerbread, power control plus may not be compatible (yet?)

    the stock power control widget should work...but i know its ugly. lol

    if you try the stock widget, and still got the toast then there must be some setting or something you have turned on that will not allow data to be switched off

    Well, widgetsoid works if you change the data toggle from apn rename to root toggle.
