I watched your video and then also read and followed the step by step procedure Cliff made that you posted. Everything seems to have worked properly, as shown below.

    DroidX2 Recovery GFAN.COM V2.5.1.8
    SD Card space free: 20084MB
    Backing up system...
    Backing up data...
    Backing up .android_secure...
    Backing up cache...
No sd-ext found. Skipping backup of sd-ext.
    Generating md5 sum...

    Backup complete!

No sd-ext found. Skipping backup of sd-ext Is this a problem or does this appear because recovery doesn't back up the SD only the system?

Sorry for the late reply, I was up till nearly sunrise & had a ton of stuff to do today before I could get home to the computer. Thank you again for all your help
    Droid X2.....Eclipse .

BIG THANKS to SD_Shadow who has also helped me dig out of a hole

A BIG thank you to GoCliffGo who helped me get Eclipse on my X2

That is what I suspected. Thank you both for confirming this.

btw CnB I followed your steps in JD & made a few adjustments to the way it was set up on my X2. Thanks for posting that link in your signature it is also likely to help battery life.

My pleasure, glad you found a use for it, it extends my battery for several hours compared to not running JD

Cliff told me about JD after I got Eclipse last year. I have JD Ultimate. Most of the settings were like yours, but I made a few changes. Your displaying all the "folder tabs" while scrolling down makes it very easy to follow. Thanks
