    DROID X2 Battery issues

Hello again guys, I am hoping someone will be able to assist me with yet another issue on my DROID X2. The battery seems to drop from about 91 to 50..then quickly to around 20. Then it will stay on for about 10 minutes and turn off. Now, if I restart the phone after this then it will be back at 50 percent for a short time -_- then die again. Idk what to do. I've already done one method of calibrating the battery and the phone says the battery is in good health. Please, any suggestions?

is this the stock battery? A motto one, or a "knock off" at all? Calibrating the battery actually doesn't really do anything IIRC

Hi, yeah this is the stock battery, I made sure. Also, it should be pretty new because Verizon gave me this phone as an extra and it was just sitting brand new until I started using it after my old X died.

Really sounds like the battery is the issue though. Like DD said, calibrating the battery on the X2 doesn't do much good. What android/system version are you on? Rooted?

I agree. I'm running android 2.3.4 unrooted. Why doesn't my phone tell me my battery is in bad health if this is the issue though? Is there any program I can use to test it? Seems like some days it works alright and other days it's terrible. If it is the battery..really unacceptable for how new it is.

Not to be the bearer of bad news, ( had my fair share of dead batterys) things like this are made in masses, its bound that some of them be defective sometimes.....is your charger the original moto one as well? I know that with these batteries/phones and others, they don't play well with those 7$ ones from Wally world

Yes very true.. but also to answer your question, it is the original droid x charger. Not the X2.. however I have a car charger and it was for a smartphone, I just don't know what smartphone lol.

it could be irrelevant, just not sure if you noticed it more after you had used the car charger vs. using the wall one.

Well I suppose it got worse after the last time I tried charging it with the car charger..however, it was acting up before I ever used it.
