It wont turn on or you are stuck at the M? If it is stuck the first thing you can try is to turn tthe phone off (pull the battery if you need to.) Replace the battery then hold volume down and power at the same time. When the screen turns on release power but continue holding volume down until "fastboot" appears at the top of your screen. Then press volume down 7 times to highlight Android Recovery. Press volume up to select it. At the triangle/android screen press volume up and volume down at the same time to enter stock recovery. Scroll down to wipe data and press power to execute then reboot... if it still hangs you will need to SBF. Post back.

It is stuck at the "M". I tried what you said and it still won't boot up past the Motorola Logo. How do I SBF?

    Ok, things you will need:
    1. Computer running XP,Vista or Win7.
    2. Stock Motorola cable that came with your phone.
    3. Battery charged to AT LEAST 20% but you want it more like 50% or above...
    4. RSD Lite. Download: http://forum.xda-developers.com/atta...7&d=1321414457
    5. Motorola Drivers installed on your computer (should have done this automatically the first time you plugged in your phone.. if you need a download just say so.
    6. The X2 2.3.4 SBF File: https://sites.google.com/site/motosb...d-x2-sbf-files (you could use the 2.3.5 if you wanted but 2.3.4 gives you more options as to which ROMs you want to install. After 2.3.4 is installed you can always upgrade up to 2.3.5 by going to Settings - About Phone - Updates)

    Steps for using RSD Lite:

1.) Make sure RSD Lite + Drivers are installed to your computer.
2.) Unzip the SBF File using 7zip or winrar and place it somewhere on your computer.
3.) Open RSD Lite and at the top you will see a box to click "..."
4.) Click it and navigate to your unzipped SBF File and open it.
5.) Plug your cable into a USB port on your computer (not to the phone yet)
6.) Turn your phone off. Hold volume up + Power. When the screen turns on release power but continue holding volume up until "starting RSD protocol" appears.
7.) Plug your phone into your computer.
8.) RSD Lite should now "see your phone"
9.) Click start in RSD Lite and wait about 10-15 minutes.
10.) Once it says "Manually reboot phone" Unplug your phone from your computer, pull the battery and replace it.
11.) With your phone still off enter stock recovery. (Same steps as in my first post. Phone off volume down + power etc.)
    12.) Wipe Data/factory reset
    13.) Reboot.

For a "Complete" guide with pictures refer here: [GUIDE] How to SBF an X2

Glad you got it back up and running. Tell your boyfriend to keep his hands off your phone. Which method did you use, and are you interested in rooting it and putting another ROM on it?

I have no idea, I walked out of the room while he was flashing it and came back and he just said, "I bricked your phone". This was a while ago and I got the Droid Bionic since I was due for an upgrade but I just cracked the screen on my Bionic so I'm not sure if I'm going to use the X2 or not but if I decide to I will definitely ask you about which roms to use and how, if you don't mind. Thank you so much for your help.
