Can't Flash Rom
I just received an X2 as a replacement to my X. I have rooted using Pete's method. I have my D2 Bootstrapper, Rom Toolbox, and Rom Manager installed. I have tried to go through all methods to try to get into recovery to apply the ZIP with out any success. I cannot get into recovery to apply the ZIP. I did have to SBF because the first time I used the bootstrapper it locked on the Red M. I used WUG's method.
I used the 1 click root method. Also when u have the D2 bootstrapper make sure USB debugging is checked. It will get stuck at the red M if its not checked.

Yes they did. My charging port went bad, and they replaced it as a manufacturers defect. I was out of warranty as I got my X on release day. Just trying to get a custom rom is a bit different.
The problem is that when it reboots, it goes all the way to the home screen. A full reboot vs. a recovery reboot.
D2 bootstrap, make sure debugging is checked, reboot into CWM

Yes... It will... Just make sure to bootstrap the recovery first

There is a bootstrap called motodx2.apk and you have to be plugged into the wall not computer for it to work...... took a lil bit but it went.......
