I was rooted using eclipse 1.3 and wanted to update to eclipse 2.2. I did a sbf, rooted with 3 different tools, each time resulting in a failed rom flash. Currently I have followed these instructions;
instructions
1 start with stock 2.3.4/1.3.380 to install update, if not stock
SBF to 2.3.4 VRZ_MB870_4.5.1A-DTN-150-30_1FF_01.sbf.zip or use [TOOL] ezSBF DX2
2 root with Pete’s Root Tools
3 backup root with Voodoo OTA Root Keeper ( select protect root)
4 temp unroot(keeps su backup)
5 install new moto update 2.3.5/1.3.418 not 1.3.412 or 1.3.413
6 restore root with Voodoo
7 Install bootstrap if you haven't yet
8 remove root backup with Voodoo (Delete su backup as it interferes with the install
9 Reboot into bootstrap recovery
10 Wipe data
11 install [ROM] Eclipse 2.2 (5/8/12)
profit
and this is the error im getting
finding update package
opening update package
verifying update package
E:signature verification failed
installation aborted.
Any suggestions?

I also had some problems running pete's root tool as it would not install root. To overcome this I simply opened the support files and ran adb from there and then ran pete's root tool. This granted me me root. Hopefully that info may help other. Also, I would highly encourage anyone to stay away from zergrush.
