I had to warranty my DX cause I got a line of dead pixels on it, the replacement will be a DX2, I was super stoked until I saw limited rom options(came from a liquid 3.0 DX), however it is a newer handset so I expect some future development. Glad to see the feedback in here though, I'm gonna check atrix and eclipse out as soon as I get my new phone.

Awesome thanks for the suggestions guys. Have any of these ROMs addressed the apparently universal memory problem? If I can't overclock yet then I at least want my memory allocated properly. I thought it was just my device until I read up on it.

All the roms pretty much address the memory problems. Liberty has a cool theme and is pretty fast while still having some blur left. If it played nice with my phone I would probably still be using it.
Eclipse is virtually blurless and the fastest and most updated ROM out right now, but again its missing almost all blur, even the stuff we like, like the camera. I find myself constantly returning to this ROM.
Motogingerfunk is pretty much a debloated, deodexed version of 2.3.4. If you like blur then you will be pretty happy with this ROM cuz its stable and way faster than stock, but still has all the blur features people like.
There's another ROM for 2.3.4 called molten that I've yet to try, but I've downloaded the zip and will probably try it out tomorrow.
