Could this lead to a unlocked bootloader?

I was over at xda and I came upon this thread. Using this method they successfully unlocked the atrix bootloader worldwide.

I've been up all night but I decided to try it out real quick, unfortunately my first attempt was a bust. I'm dead tired now so I'm posting this in the hopes a few people will take the task on and get it to work.

Here's what I did that didn't work:

My system is modified (bloat and other things either frozen or deleted) this may have kept it from working in the first place.

I used CWM to flash the zip file, rather than pasting over the system files like the xda thread said to do, however a few posts in someone did get the flashing method to work but they took slightly different steps than me.

My steps:
Boot recovery
Flash the blur_setup.zip
Wipe data
Wipe cache
Reboot

I couldn't get it to work like this for what ever reason, if this will work on a x2 at all.

Note: I had previously made a backup last night so that step has been omitted, anyone willing to attempt this I suggest making a backup and checking the md5 sum before doing anything. That being said I had no problem restoring my phone from back up after attempting this process.

So, give the xda thread a read, grab the file and lets see what we can accomplish!

Yesterday ended in sbf 3 times and not because of this, therefore I was not in the mood and didn't do it.
So I will be trying this tonight.

For those wondering, I have tried over and over to get this to work. The cloud feature simply isn't appearing. I've tried to access it using other methods as well, but still no luck.

I saw a tweet, don't remember who from or when but it was an android dev (only use twitter to follow them...and attack of the show, of course) it was a day or two ago; but they said that it will not unlock the Dx bootloader
