    Lag and Redraw Problems?

Are you so tired of the constant redraw problems with third party launchers? Redraws you ask what's that? You bring your phone out of sleep and the home screen just freezes and the launcher restarts, then you have the 5-10 second lag where nothing works......this is a redraw. Also of note, do you have lag swiping from screen to screen or opening an app or the app drawer? Do you feel like tossing your phone out the nearest window or throw it against a wall?

There's hope and something that'll last us until either a dev starts working on a ROM or Gingerbread drops.

The process requires your phone to be rooted and the use of a couple of free apps from the Market and the Supercharger script

I found this on the mothership [Script] V6 SuperCharger !! HTK & BulletProof Launchers! FIX MEMORY FOR ALL ANDROIDS! - Droid Forum - Verizon Droid & the Motorola Droid Forum

Before even considering this make sure you read it over
, and then to be sure read it over again. There's a lot of info that most of which will boggle a new user, but to break it down to easy terms:

    Requirements:
    1. Rooted Phone
    2. Script Manager (now Automatically Interactive!) or Terminal Emulator to run the script.

    Installing/Using:

    1. Download the attached V6_SuperCharger_for_Android.zip and extract the script to your sdcard.
... Do NOT run the V6 SuperCharger install script at boot!
    2. Load the script (V6_SuperCharger_for_Android.sh) into Script Manager and select "Run as Root."
    3. Touch the screen for the soft keyboard or slide out the keyboard and get SuperCharged!

I chose option 6 (Balanced 2) and haven't had a redraw since. All credit goes to zeppelinrox this is his work and will work on most Android devices.

It made my phone 100% better right away, I'm not gonna mess with any of the other settings until an SBF is available just to be safe.

Which do you think is better? Term Emulator? Or Script Manager? I can easily do Term Emulator especially if I know what to type. Lile when I reeoted my X1 via the term emulator because I got bored. Lol

I used Script Manager much easier since you click on the script on the SD Card and don't have to type it in as you do on Terminal Emulator

No, its a permanent change until you undo it manually
