    Safe Apps to Freeze/Remove 5/26/11

    Hello all! Here is a running list of apps that are safe to freeze. I will update this as I find more! I recommend freezing apps and not removing them.

    It didn't like when I frozen the VCAST aps...had to pull the batt. because the force close window kept popping up. Fine now tho

    How do you "freeze" the apps? I am a new user of the Droid X and love the phone, but can't stand navigating thru all the stuff I won't ever use.

    Are you rooted? You can freeze the appps using titanium backup from the market.

    I froze voice command and task manager, but they kept running according to the system panel app. I uninstalled them and the phone got stuck in force closing "nuance". I had to restart and everything seems to be working now. Now I'm running at 60-70 mb free.

    I actually removed all the apps instead of freezing them and I have over 100mb free normally. I do not recommend it. But it is an option.
