    Invalid certificate warnings

I am setting up USB Tethering option on my Droid X2 Phone (Android v 2.3.5). It's pretty quick to connect using my laptop but I keep getting these do not accept certificate warnings. These are all common legitimate websites I am trying to visit such as aol.com for instance. What is the possible work around for this rather than ignoring these warnings one by one?

Not touching anything yet though till I get a reply and thanks so much in advance.

btw I use Windows 7 on my Laptop.

that one only works if you are paying for verizon's tether sevice
you need a tethering app from play store to bypass the verizon block.

Thanks for quick reply. Is that the Google Play Store? http://play.google.com?

And which one do you recommend?

I would try easytether from mobile stream, but I didn't tether much with the X2, and don't remember which ones worked.
if easy tether free works, you will need the pro version, for secure sites like gmail

easytether is usb or bluetooth tether

    for wifi options try
    FoxFi:
    https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...om.foxfi&hl=en
    or
    Open Garden
    https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=og.android.tether
    or
one of several others in the play store

I was hoping for USB just to connect my Laptop from home but I get this...

Your phone is not currently set up to be used as a modem or mobile hotspot. To see if these services are available, click "Continue."

Then on continue I get this...

This device is currently not authorized to access Dial-Up Networking services, please contact your wireless service provider for more details.

So I turned on Mobile Hostspot just to see what gives but got the same warnings above.

btw the warning link is from verizon https://dunsp.vzw.com/newSelfProvisi...lfProvisioning

So I tried FoxFi with USB option and I must say so far it's working great. Thanks folks.

    Thanks folks
