DX2 on CM7 (lovin it)

hello just wanted to share my lil story

got the dx2 what a dog this phone was
slow as molasses glitchy just plain pia lol
random reboots etc then i figured id learn to root and flash cm7 what a world of difference this made thanks to all the good info here i rooted no probs and flashed cm7 all is well been rockin it for a bit now phones very fast and responsive no blur no bloat im lovin it I dont think ill go back to stock again this phone is what it should be now thanks to this forum i now have a very fast cool phone and major props and thanks to the developer of CM7 exellent work thank you very much for getting this rom out to us DX2 users cant wait till the next one comes out

I was in the same boat. never rooted before figured the X2 was so bad stock id either have a sweet phone or a brick. I was past even caring, It was so bad If i bricked i would have went back to a flip phone from a long time ago. Like not even the later models of flip phones, Im talking like when dinosaurs roamed the earth phone. lol

I know same here i sead screw it dove right in got it done and never looked back lol now my friends and people i know that have a DX2 are jealous because my phone is better than thers is and blows thers outta the water

ok so i have a NEW droid X2, as you guys already said and know this phone is very nice but its slow, it reboots on occasion and again i say its NEW why would it do all this garbage being new, but never the less i want a good fast phone, i know this has been asked over n over but imma ask as well, how do i do this stuff you folks speak of? Im perty good at listening and following direction just show me the way. Any and all help is appreciated. I use this phone for work purposes so i need a phone that WORKS, not one that overheats, reboots, cancels out ringtones etc etc. I need a fast well working phone for 8hrs a day.

Does anyone know if the X2 has been able to receuve the .621 update? I believe it's supposed to fix these issues. It fixed my X. I have the first X, and it hasn't had as many issues, all of which I've been able to fix myself. Mach are you t rooted?

Start here. Read it repeatedly until it starts to make sense. Then ask about anything that you have questions about. Having a basic understanding of what you are about to do will save you hours of aggravation and wasted time. Many of us have been in that boat before. But it is actually an easy process, so no worries there.
