Yahoo mail

All of a sudden my email messages no longer pop up on my phone telling me I have a new email I don't know why it always worked fine I have it set threw my yahoo mail account.. just seeing what everyone thinks it could be thanks!

Mine used to do that periodically with yahoo.i just uninstalled the yahoo app and then reinstalled it and the notifications would start working again.

Someone else may have a better way of fixing it, but that always worked for me.

It's slow (yahoo mail) but anything is better than gmail. I've only had problems with it once.. Just uninstalled on reinstalled and it's worked fine ever since.

Personally I do not like gmail. The gmail on PC, to me, is a little better but the app is retarded. You would think the almighty Google could do better.

I'll trade function for lack of speed myself.

I hate Yahoo mail app. It's slow and very buggy. Gmail is much better. I have both email addresses.

I have Both Email Mails Yahoo & Gmail neither of them are Laggers at All...You may want to Try a Great Cache Cleaner Like...Cache Cleaner NG...I have mine to Clean every 12 hours Awesome and may Get Rid of those Laggie Issues your having...

To prove my point...My Backup Email is K-9 just in case my server is not performing its my Safety Net Server...That has No Lagging at all either...

I have a couple of accounts in both. To me yahoo is very slow loading. I have re installed it more than once. It works but slowly.

Gmail, for me, is faster but I do not like the app. I like it fine when using it in the browser. For instance you can't delete messages in the trash and it saves things in more than one place. It saves every thing to all mail. I end up going to the browser and doing things. The Yahoo app on the other hand lets me do more. Like empty the trash.

To me its either speed with gmail or functionality with yahoo. Not both.

Thats just my humble opinion.

I have had this problem and the unistal/reinstall of the ap fixed it, on my DX1, as well.
