my dx2 came with 2.3.4 and i want to know if froyo 2.2 can be put on it. I tried the 2.2 sbf for the droid x but it didn't work... that made it go to 2.3.3, so any way to get the froyo on it?

i did it with rsd and all that... no matter what i do, it does't work. I'm trying to install the zip from the sdcard right now but it appears frozen... don't know if it takes a while or if it's really stuck. I never had any problems with this stuff on the droid x, but this one is being a b****!
**edit** it froze... attempting again...

I've already tried that too and still doesn't work. I had it rooted with 2.3.3 and ended up putting 2.3.4 back on (the rooted version). My DX2 never had stock froyo 2.2... it came updated with GB 2.3.4 but has 2.3.3 stock. Everyone I have seen that has flashed back to 2.2 had 2.2 stock on the phone to begin with. I'm kinda thinking once 2.3 is stock, you can't put old froyo on it or there is something wrong with my phone like demon possesion or something ;p. I have tried it with every version of rsd and moto drivers, I've tried installing from sd card with DX2 bootsrap with zipped and unzipped files, have modified files... nothing works, just takes the phone back down to 2.3.3. when ever I try to install the 2.2. So, fold arms, stomp, pout, errrr lol But at least it's rooted... better than nothing I guess.
I am on 2.3.4 trying to go back to 2.3.3 does somEone have the sbf file our know where I can get it from. The one you use rsd lite with

The download is in the first post of this link. You have to unzip the file first before it will show up in RSD
