DROID X2 Actually Has Front Facing Camera?!

According to the Boy Genius Report it is there, but not activated. Take a look at the top right and it looks like something is there.

Proximity light sensors? The Droid X looks like it has one as well, but its a proximity light sensor (what is used to turn the screen on/off when you are on call and you move the phone closer/further away from face, as well as used for auto screen brightness).

I think its just speculation, I don't think they would have kept something like that away from us, the front facing camera a big marketing tool right now and Moto/VZW would not have missed that boat on purpose.

Yeah, he just saw something he thought was a camera. I think its pretty clear he's wrong.

I never looked at it, but there are 2 distinctive circular things there. In my opinion what would be gained by not having it activate off the get go, what it is remains to be seen.

Putting a camera behind dark plastic wouldn't make much sense.

The X has the proximity sensors on the left, I see what looks like a lens on the inner circle on the right side, but can't be specific about that. I guess we'll see when someone does a breakdown video, I'd be pleasantly surprised if it was.

There's a led light, proximity sensor, and a light sensor. I highly doubt a camera was installed without any marketing or changing the weight. Just my $0.02

i am wondering if it possibly has 4g hardware also going by some things i have found in the recovery or boot partitions and the build.prop file
