I have been using my Dad's DROID X Otterbox Defender case on my X2 (that's the best thing about the X2 having the same frame as the X...being able to use the same cases) ever since I picked it up on its launch date. It's an extremely well built case and can take just about anything you can throw at it, but I feel it is a little overboard for school. I have been looking into a lighter, thinner case that is well built and easy to slip in and out of my pocket and still offer a good bit of protection. I have narrowed it down to these three cases:
1. Incipio Silicrylic Case in black
Incipio Motorola DROID X2 SILICRYLIC Hard Shell Case with Silicone Core, Motorola DROID X2 Hard Shell Case, Motorola DROID X2 Carrying Cases, Motorola DROID X2 Premium Cases
2. Seidio Surface Case in black

3. Trident Aegis Case in red and black
iPhone Covers And Cases, Cases For Apple iPad, iPod & iPhone, Samsung Galaxy S & Motorola Cell Phone Cases, HTC Evo & Incredible Case
The one I like best at the moment is the Incipio because from what I can tell from the pictures it would be the most pocket friendly case....the silicon under the plastic cover is protected quite well ensuring that the silicone doesn't get pulled off when being removed from your pocket while still giving the phone an extra layer of protection from bumps and dings. The second one I like best out of the three is the Seidio. It is a rubberized snap-on hard case that would be quite nice for in and out of the pocket, but lack in more protection. The real reason I'm not so sure of it though is because I have read and seen reviews that over time the snaps that hold it together on your phone wear out and don't stay as secure as new. That would be a big disappointment to me if that was the case....no pun intended. The third and final case I have found is the Trident Aegis. I like it for looks best, but am really concerned that the silicon that is exposed on the sides, top and bottom will slip off in my pocket and eventually get stretched out due to the fact that the plastic backing really is more for looks then reinforcing the silicone skin. I base that off of my Defender Case that has that exact problem....it's silicone has stretched and slips off while being removed from my pocket probably due to the fact that it really wasn't intended as a pocket only case....
My main question is which of these do you recommend most? As I stated, I believe the Incipio would work best, but have no experience with any of them and am only basing that off pictures and some short videos I've watched on YouTube. I would like to hear what you have experienced with these cases and if you don't have any...just tell me which you would get...
Sorry for the long thread!!!!!
