Wipe your cache. And I wipe dalvik cache for good measure, tho it probably makes no difference.

When I have a notification and pull down the notification screen, the notification is there, it shows the icon, but the text can't be read. Anyone else have this and know a solution? Thanks.

If your on ICVorteX no real fix lol. The thing is that some apps use there own color code and it give black text on phones black background. If you press on it it should light up and you might be able to make out what is says.

I posted this on the Vortex Toolbox thread but it was suggested that I post here:
I just flashed Vortex yesterday (love it by the way) but can't get carrier text to change. I'm not worried about the battery icon since I'm using Wulf's ICS theme but I would like the carrier text to change. I've read thru this whole thread and I'm 99% positive I've done everything correctly but no joy. Carrier text is certainly not a dealbreaker but it would be nice to have it say what I want. Any thoughts that haven't been given in the thread already? Now I just want to do this because I'm stubborn... Is it possible that the ICS theme is somehow screwing up Carrier Text changing functionality?

Oh yea, while I'm here what is the circular icon next to the speaker icon in the notification bar? I can't figure that one out.

The theme shouldn't keep it from working but stranger things certainly have happened. Have you updated vortex toolbox and CWM since installing the theme? It's possible the theme reset something and you need to update again. Also, you didn't say if it is rebooting into CWM, running the script and then rebooting the phone or if it just does nothing. That might give some more clues as to what is happening. If it is rebooting can you catch what it says in CWM?

It goes pretty quickly but I caught it saying patching file system and then fixing and then I missed the rest because I was trying to write the other ones down... In any case it seems like the messages indicate that it's doing what it's supposed to be doing except it doesn't.

Okay. Just wanted to make sure it wasn't saying "ERROR! ERROR! ERROR!" That would indicate something is wrong

I would suggest reflashing vortex like csk mentioned and see if you can get it to work then. Good luck.
