I haven't tried anything yet as I don't know where to start. I love to tinker with gizmos and gadgets and would love to customize my phone. I will check for ADW and see what I can find.

Okay...found "ADW.Launcher","ADW.Launcher (donut)" both free, then there's "ADWLauncher EX" for $3.32. There are also themes for the GO Launcher, though not very many. What's my best bet?

There are also launcher pro, go launcher ....adw ex is very nice....but you can try the free one to get a feel for it

Adw is the best launcher with the most themes In my opinion. It has the most themes for sure but adw ex has the most options as a launcher. Try adw then if you like it and want more options you can pay for it. But that's my opinion, and if its not enough of a change for you come back and i'll hook you up with a drastic change.

ADW and Go Launcher are top IMO. Both have plenty of themes. ADW is worth the $3+ and Go is an excellent free launcher.

I will do that. Now, when you say drastic change, are we talking red pill / blue pill stuff? Cuz I've always felt like the X was capable of much more than it does out of the box. I would like to ditch the aps they put on there and loosen it up a bit.
