DroidX STILL restarts after shutdown

Shutdown, and "cold",...the DX restarts itself. Sometimes within 20 minutes., sometimes within hours. Verizon says this is a "known issue" and will be fixed with the next OS update...which I have heard now for a long time. In the forum this is discussed, but no definitive solution. Verizon will replace the phone, but only with a DX (which won't reassure me).

Android version 2.3.3 System version 4.5.605.MB810
I've done factory resets frequently, with no success.
I have run the DX with no apps loaded... and this isn't the solution.

I suspect the answer to my problem is "tough luck"

There isn't an answer because it's a bug that hasn't been fixed and probably won't be fixed.

Really the only solutions would be one of the following:

*Root your phone and install a custom rom
* turn your phone off twice (not fun haha)
* put your phone into sleep mode instead of powering it off

That's really all that can be done unless Motorola sends out a patch/ update

Mine still did it in Cm7, Liberty, and Vortex.

Mine did that only a few times, but my friend had her DROIDX do it alot, even while she was on an airplane, but now hers doesn't do it as much anymore
