Email not sending

I was using a pop email on stock email and all of a sudden messages wouldn't leave the outbox. After trying to fix it I gave up and downloaded maildroid. After awhile same problem with outgoing mail. I use my yahoo mail from time to time and now I've noticed the same thing with that email.

Anyone else have this problem?

You're talking about the stock gmail not sending?

Go to settings>applications>manage applications>filter:all>gmail>clear storage. It will sync back up and your problem will be fixed.

No this is for pop email.

Through what service? Gmail, Yahoo, Hotmail?

This may or may not be the issue... I have Road Runner and had to use my entire email as the username to send on 3G. It would send fine on my wifi at home with just the username.

Yahoo and comcast pop. Its not all the time though. Once in awhile they just sit there in the outbox. Also push email stopped working as well. Id have to manually check for mail.

I am also having these issues w/ my yahoo. I added my yahoo using manual entry. Made the incoming server name/port different based on something from a forum (provided to me by Verizon tech support) and also manually input the outgoing server/port. I can't send email but it's finally receiving email. Verizon tech stated that Yahoo doesn't want to provide their "push" email services for free so they are making it difficult to send/receive from your phone. They want you to pay $20/yr for your "free" yahoo mail.
Can anyone help me to be able to send mail from my phone yahoo acct? it's becoming annoying. Thanks!

am having same / similiar problem using GMAIL on my Droid X (stock). am no longer able to synch my gmail account with the stock e-mail program (or K9 for that matter). have tried the clear data trick, as well as going to GMAIL page to update settings. Keep getting "account name or password error" and to go back to reset settings. I can use the downloaded gmail for android program, however, would like to use an e-mail program with folders so to enable separating stored e-mails (and not just labeling them).

is it possible to delete stock e-mail program and then re-install? or would that not work? This seems to be a GMAIL problem with VERIZON, as when i called tech, she just realized it was not synching with hers as well, however it was working on an android incredible.
