    SBF question

    Making my first attempt at SBF. My phone is rooted, Froyo, running Apex ROM.

    Booted into Linux, put the phone into Bootloader (using Droid2 Bootloader) amd attempted SBF. The program ran through about 20 lines and now is says:

    "waiting for phone:"

    Any suggestions?

    Your not in BOOTLOADER.
    Bootloader, is
    Hold camera, volume down, and power, when screen blinks release and white wrting should come up says 30.04 battery ok, etc. thats is bootloader..

    Droid2 bootstrap puts u in clockwork not bootloader.. do as silver said to get into bootloader..

    boot into linux disc, when it comes up with the 123 choices go into bootloader, then attach your phone to the usb cable, then hit the correct number and then enter.

    no problem, I JUST did an sbf to my fiances earlier this afternoon She wanted root finally after I showed her all the cool stuff.

    Ok got SBF done. Don't I need to use Z4root again afterward? It doesn't seem to want to finish. It tells me it is "Running exploit to obtain root access" but the loading wheel just spins without any apparent progress.

    Edit:
    Patience is a virtue that I have never had (in great supply at least). Left it running and Z4root finally finished. Superuser is back :-)
