Yeah that's correct. But if you are talking about the. 15 radio wasn't there a 605 AIO download link in that thread? Once you sbf to Froyo you should flash the aio and it should bring you back up to 605 but with the 15 radio intact.

It mentions sbfing but that is for future use.

About the link, I don't think being a member has anything to do with your ability to download. That's weird though.

not sure which thread you're talking about but if theres a 605 download that fixes the radio im all for it. you would still have to use the linux method to install it right?

i was able to download the 605 link in this thread after i joined and made the previous post. before it would not load. tried it on 3 different computers before and nothing. now it works on them. oh well, another perk to being a member lol.

Ok I'm sorry, maybe I am misunderstanding. What is wrong with your radio? Are you just trying to get back to gingerbread and the 13 radio? If you are trying to get the newest radio and you are already on Froyo take a look at this thread. http://www.DroidXForums.com/forum/sh...lashable radio

Ok im a real doofus. I totally misread the op. I thought you had to sbf then flash the radio fix (not knowing it would put me on 605), then use the linux method to flash 605 or any other rom from how on. Im good now. Im on 605 from the radio fix thread. Question now is what do I have to do to be on cm9? I tried flashing it last night and got stuck at the cm9 boot animation screen and couldn't get into stock recovery or anything else. Wound up sbf'ing again. Now im back on 605 with the 15p radio. I flashed it from d2 bootstrapper. The only thing I forgot to do was wipe data/factory reset and wipe partition cache beforehand. Would that cause me to be stuck at the cm9 boot animation? Can I go to cm9 straight from 605 or do I need to linux back to froyo first? Sorry for being such a novice.

You need to download ROM Manager from the market. The free version will do. Open Bootstrap and hit bootstrap recovery. Open ROM Manager and hit update latest clockwork. Choose Droid X 2nd init when the device list pops up. Then hit reboot recovery still in ROM Manager. Then flash CM9 and the Gapps.

Don't use Bootstrapper to reboot recovery ever. That will bork your phone.

don't need to wipe data, to install bootstrap or update cwm
you need to wipe data every time you install new rom, unless its a minor update to the rom you have installed
generally the latest gaaps is best, from the cm site

    edit: http://wiki.cyanogenmod.com/index.php?title=Latest_Version/Google_Apps
use the ics gaaps for cm9 of course
