thanks, It's not taken in any derogatory way. Using the .604 sbf, newest UNetbootin, the usb drive is working as I can load it into my Windows laptop and run it from that. It just won't load up on the netbook running Ubuntu. I've even tried a different usb, and boot into a Ubuntu ISO and same thing happens, so it is probably the netbook
ok i got my phone back from it being bricked i used the iso 4.5.605 one so witch way do i need to go with now to have the best up date and strongest build i did make a nano back up of my last .605 rooted one but i dnt want it back i want to go to newer and better rom and have ever thing on it and thank you all that helped me get my phone back and thank you 1kds for ur stuff

Need some help.... My DX WILL NOT sbf. No matter what I've tried. Here's the details:
Bootloader - 30.04
Currently rooted, and running the OTA 4.5.602.MB810.Verizon.en.US version (also stuck on the 13p radio).
Battery @ 100% charge
Using the stock Moto USB cable.
~~~~~~~
Bootloader screen reads:
Battery OK
OK to Program
Transfer Mode:
USB
~~~~~~~
Okay here's the problem. The bootloader is bombing out with a "Critical Error B655 EDDC" error upon trying to SBF. The process never gets to the point of showing a %xx complete.
Here's what I have tried thus far:
~I have tried 5 different computers and different USB ports on each system.
~I have tried 3 different versions of RSDlite and 3 versions windows (win xp pro, win 7 32, win 7 64). RSD also bombs with the error: "error sending jump command".
~I have re-downloaded the SBF files multiple times. The MD5s match. (I just did this because I knew it would be a suggestion).
~I've tried the .340, .596, .602, & .605 ISOs from this thread (all burned with IMGBURN), and I've also used the live USB for each ISO (because I am now out of CDRs).
~I have tried THROWING THE PHONE due to rage.
~I have rammed my head into a wall.
~I am at a loss. And now have a headache.
Any suggestions how to get around this error?
PS. I F****** hate Motorola.

Are you using the actual Imageburn software or the built in "burn image to disk" in Windows 7?
Sent from my AOKP'd DROID X
The software of course.
Have you tried 1KDS linux SBF instead of RSD? It's actually very simple and you can regain route from it, the instructions are on the OP
Hi, If you notice in my post, I've tried 4 different versions of his ISOs (.340, .596, .602, & .605).
Thanks
