my version was the most updated for DX the .621 or w/e and when i ran the program the last process seemed like it cut short it got to like half way it looked then shot to the complete page and the disconnect usb blah blah but on my phone it still was saying sw update yadda yadda then it gave the error code and is stuck on bootloader now. so i tryed a second time n thought maybe it didn't complete downloading at that sw update part so i waited for about 5 minutes and that screen didn't go away do i/should i wait till that screen changes or is this something totally different?
Sounds like it's not finishing, try it again, let me know the details of what happens, it should upload the code groups [cg] then verify them.
i did try it again and this time i tryed the cd method before i was doing the usb method. but still no luck im at the sw update in progress... screen on my phone but the computer says the process is finished and i should disconnect yada yada man this sucks now i just want to be able to restore my phone so that i can atleast boot :/
What happened during the process? Did it upload and verify all the code groups?
im guessing it did but im not 100% sure all i know is that i still got the same error and right now im trying to charge my battery because its too low to do anymore tinkering.... and im going to try and sbf the .621 back on it to see if my error goes away i am hoping and praying it does -.-
I have a Droid x and was getting the A5,70,70,00,71 error. The phone was working fine earlier in the day and suddenly the menu button quit working. Rebooted phone and it would not boot up and the boot screen gave the above errors. After a lot of searching I was led to this page and followed all of the instructions and used the Milestone X 4.5.604 Gingerbread and now the phone goes to the motorola screen and completely freezes and will not let me enter recovery. I tried flashing it a second time, and the only thing it has successfully done is fix the boot errors, outside of that it hasn't done anything. Is my phone now bricked? Any help greatly appreciated.
I did the milestone update but now need to SBF back to stock.621. How do I do this??
I need to return the phone back to Verizon. Thanks.
