if you use a 1080p tv as a monitor, i suggest disconnecting it and using just a regular monitor for this, resolution was all stretched out on my TV and very hard to read
used this for my first sbf. I thought that all of my sh## talking about sbfing would come back to haunt me ... this worked flawlessly thank you.
It worked! Now to decided if I want to sbf tonight...Thank you very much...

Attempting to download now.. I'm fairly newbish with OS X on this Mac but learning, and completely unexposed to Linux, so I'm unsure how successful I'll be with this but willing to try. At least if I can get the creepy crawly slow download done, I'll at least have that done. whew it's creeping.
I do have virtualbox loaded, and attempted ubuntu 10.10 install but it comes up in some kind of distorted window that doesn't seem to show the full screen of the OS inside the window. I do have 10.10 iso file and sbf_flash file, but getting stuck at getting linux up, running, etc. I'm at the point of going to youtube and watching it happen to get some virtualbox/ubuntu spoonfeeding. The actual sbf flash is I'm betting much easier than this. Makes me wish I hadn't taken the plunge to the leak gb. I'm probably attempting something completely unnecessary.. I dunno.
I need two DX's.. One to try rom's on and one for MIUI because it's THE daily driver for me so I'm not messin' with it.
You don't need Ubuntu and all that...just burn 1KDS's image to a disc and follow the instructions. That's really all there is too it...no installs needed, he's got it all packaged in there and it's easy...
Finally downloaded.. out of time with it tonight if sleep is of any importance. File finished.. 309.3mb I'll get it copied to cruzer drive and attempt this tomorrow.
Says 309.3 MB on disk (309,329,920 bytes) so going by the "bytes" amount at least it looks ok.
