Dog - I have another idea for "Take II" - might discuss the different restore options a bit more, I discovered the "Restore Missing Apps" almost by accident on my last Flash/Restore and that helped alot cuz, I didn't want to restore the apps the ROM installed. And I'm pretty sure of the answer, but if you backed up something that you NEVER want to restore, you just long press and delete ? correct ?
Experience is a Cruel Instructor. First you take the test, then you learn the lesson!
With TiBackup, the selection "backup all user apps" doesn't back up the app data right? If you just run that then backup then backed up with bootstrapper, that should save your app data there right? Thus making the TiBackup option "backup all user apps + system data" obsolete?
I know bootstrapper is what you need to install a new ROM, but it seems like it would be easier to use TiBackup to backup and restore system data AND apps. This is unless bootstrapper does something better for restoring system data.
I had a problem when installed Liberty 1.0 where my app data (Mileage, Angry Birds, etc.) was only restored to my first bootstrapper backup, not the one I created before I installed Liberty 1.0.
I'm getting ready to install Liberty 1.5 and do not want to lose my app data... just a little confused exactly what bootstrapper is backing up vs. TiBackup since they both have the option to backup/restore system data.
Backup all apps is apps and data. Otherwise it would be pointless

Another good video DD. At least this time we're beginners and not idiots! LOL
