Droid X 4.5.621 sbf and root tutorial

I've done this like 20 times this week because I'm testing all the roms to find one that has a working hdmi (xternal display)

After a few times I thought I might as well take a moment and post a video of me going through the process, in case anyone has been having trouble.

    ROM Flash tutorial

Custom ROM Flash DROID X 4.5.621 - YouTube

Here is a continuation on my last video.

I go through the process of flashing a new rom, and I posted some links to "functioning" ROMs for a 4.5.621 updated DROID X.

I assume you are on rooted .604? BTW, in the vid description you link to Liberty, and its the normal Liberty page. If you flash that it'll brick your phone on .604. You *have* to use the patched versions I made for any blur-based ROMs...

I don't remember what version the milestone rom was, but yes it was definitely blur-based.
The roms I listed didn't brick for me, some are blur-based some are AOSP. I'm still trying to figure out the reason AOSP won't fit well on phones running blur/sense/touchwiz.
    Thank you for the tip.

You have a milestone x or just flash back to 604 to root? If you are on Verizon, I'd go back to .621 and use the magic method to root it. Link in my signature.

The .604 x ezsbf should still root your phone. Its meant for milestone firmware.
