Droid X 2.1 rooted and renamed 12 apps. unrooted to updated to 2.2..problems

    Hi -

Previously I had rooted my droid x and renamed the follow .apk(s) to .bak(s) (cmas, statuswidget, vpnservices, nluetoothdun, mynet, socialshare, cardock, workcontacts, blockbustet, bluettoth, stickynotewidget, newswidget, skype_mobile.live, amazonmp3, zipaligned, magicsmokewall, quickcontactwidget, redding-7648). I was having problems updating to 2.2 and before reading I unrooted thinking that would fix my issue. Now I don't seem to be able to re-root my phone or rename the .bak files to .apk. Any have ideas how to fix this? I haven't tried a factory reset since I was afraid it would brick it with those .apk(s). Any help would be appreciated.

you need to figure out what apps your missing and put them back on. the update wont work until you do so.
