Stuck on boot logo, hard keys flash on and off
So I have been running MIUI.us 1.10.21 for a while now. In the middle of the night my phone started freaking out (Phantom button pushes like crazy). So I did a battery pull and got stuck in a boot loop during the boot animation. So I did another battery pull and cannot get past the boot logo, no more boot animation. I noticed however I can get into the recovery boot menu (via updated boot menu by pressing down volume key when blue light appears). The first time I tried to get into the boot menu again my phone started to freak out, it was randomly selecting menu items, backing out of menus, etc. until it selected the reboot phone option. If I let the phone try to boot up again I cannot get past the boot logo, however, I noticed that when the option to get into the boot menu passes (the blue light comes on and then turns off) my menu and home hard key flash on and off rapidly for a second (the search and back buttons stay dark). I have never seen this nor heard of anyone else having this issue. It is really strange because I have not tried to modify my phone for a while. It has been 3 or 4 weeks since I have tried to flash an new rom or even mess with theming.
Anyone else experience this before or know what is going on? I am going to try to restore a backup of my rom but wanted to post here just in case some one might know what I should do.
Thanks in advance!

I think you house is haunted! Haha
Have you tried clearing data in stock recovery (or CWM if you can get to it again)?

I have clear data and cache and actually did a factory reset. Unfortunately I think I found the issue. Upon futher examination of my phone I noticed a ring of evaporated water next to the back and serach hard keys. It looks like my X had contacat with water while it was on the charger on my night stand (Some water/condensation must have leaked out of a bottle of water on my night stand). So I restored an old backup and the phone booted all the way up, however the back and serach hard keys still have no back light. I was excited that it booted though. The phone seemd fine at first, however, when the phone goes to sleep I cannot get it to wake back up. Pushing the power button or any of the hard keys does nothing to wake the phone. I even remapped the volume keys to wake the phone and it does not work either. So my phone works but only if i keep it on the whole time and not allow it to sleep, which is a real bummer.
Any suggestion on how I might resurrect my phone, or am i sunk?
Thanks!

Since it's hardware, you'll either have to go through insurance or get parts to repair it unfortunately.

boot loop issus. Ok heres a new one. I just posted for my first time here last night, or early, whatever.
and I was all excited because I actually got root to work on my DX that is flashed to Cricket. I had my phone flashed about 2 months ago. Anyway, I had ROM manager, Busybox, and a couple other root apps installed and was about to begin installing a new ROM when I made the dumb choice to switch busybox versions. So I uninstalled an older version and then without reinstalling another busybox version I made the completely insane decision to reboot, wow, what a mistake that one was. So now for the past 2 hours its been stuck in the loop , gets as far as the red droid circle moving for about 20 seconds, then goes back to spelling out "droid" and so on. I cannot get to CWM recovery but I can get to Bootloader 30.04 manually and connect my USB to my laptop, which is running Win 7 64bit. Im in the process of downloading VRZ MB810 2.3.34.1 and planning on going about the SBF flash that way unless someone can help me, is there a way to manually install busybox via USB cable? and also will doing this factory reset remove my Cricket flash? I know that I can do a factory reset from the phone, because I did that about a month ago, to remove an old google account. and after I dialed #228 it worked on Cricket again. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
