Market app install issues?

Ive been having an issue with my market on MIUI .21 for the past few weeks. When I go to update an app or even install a new one, It downloads it, then goes to install, then it says insufficient storage available.

Usually a market force close, or data clear fixes it and allows it to install or update the app. Seems to only happen on MIUI. I started running boot manager a couple nights ago and liberty and rubix market hasn't given me any issues yet.

Any idea? I really don't feel like wiping my data, Ive already tried a cache clear and permissions fix on all apps.

edit: This is all kind of sudden, Ive had miui running without a hiccup for about two months probably.

I have been getting this lately on both my DX and Bionic running Liberty3, clearing cache and FC'ing the app seems to fix it. Other than that, I have yet to find another way... Not sure what is causing it, possibly issues with the Market itself (server side maybe).

Well, glad I'm not the only one. Its really irritating I know that. I hope someone knows the cause or if its the market I hope it gets straightened out real soon.

It is irritating lol, and this isn't the first issue I've been having, none of my apps show up in "My Apps" in the Market, after all my troubleshooting and trying to fix it, I emailed Google, and they said its their issue but they don't know what to do to fix it and every time I email them I get some generic response saying they are working on it... This is even more annoying cause I don't get app updates cause of it lol I have to hunt down each app in the Market just to see if I have updates...

All well, what can we do...

It appears it is being caused by the latest update from the market. This kinda confirming it for us. How to see a new market update soon then.

I had the same problem I unistalled the market updates & now I have updated all my apps & joined DroidX forums to spread the word. Thank the Droid gods for this site & helpful people.

Hey all,
I've just flashed MIUI v2012-1-8, strictly adhering to Wizard's install instrux. No fix for Market issue there...yet. I was having the same issue with every version of MIUI I've tried, since ~.21 (I believe). I was running MIUI, though, in the holiday season (when Market was offering all those dime-deals). I took everything I wanted at the time, even the humongous Oceanhouse Media exies. I never received that message then. I'm pretty sure I was playing around with Boot Manager during that time, too; I just can't remember clearly though.

It makes sense to me that the issue lies more in terms of the internal memory than SD memory, as I've read. Though now, since I've flashed the newer MIUI, my presumption was that the issue may have resolved. Nope. I think I've tried each method I've read about, and none returns consistently positive outcomes. I even tried a workaround for another device (moving the Market cache to SD + adding symlink), but no dice. I sure would like to find out what's going on with this, and I wish it were me who is going to post the solution. However, I'm merely a Droid padawan yet.

I send all the good AOSKarma out to those code monkeys and tweekers that are looking for answers to this dilemma. I truly appreciate your efforts and insight. TYVMIA for advice, instructions, and consolation (LOL!) for the "Market flop of 2012."
