Angry Help. Remove superuser and unroot on droid x 2.2

I rooted my droid x back when it first came out and then upgraded to 2.2 without unrooting. i had some problems with it like camera not working and it not allowing me to get newer updates. i did a factory reset and took my phone into verizon because it wont update (probably cause its rooted or something). Anyway i didnt notice till i got home that i still have the superuser app, and now i have to ship verizon my phone in 5 days. I have tried using Z4root to reroot and unroot it, but its still there and i dont know how to get rid of it. Plz help. I dont want to send them a phone that was obviously messed with.

SBF to completely and easily remove all traces of root.

    SBF

As Pop said, SBF is the most thorough way.
Simpler is to root with z4, then use a file explorer with root capabilities (esfile or supermanager both free in the market) and go to /system/app, scroll down to find superuser.apk, long press it and select delete. reboot, unroot, uninstall z4. This will be fine if you have not installed clockwork recovery

Ok, I have NEVER done any of this rooting business before. I purchased a phone from someone who rooted it and I need it unrooted. I'm not sure what the purpose of it is... but I think I like a stock phone. When I clicked the link above, it went to a page that shows how to instal a root (I think). You'll have to talk me through this. SERIOUSLY stupid when it comes to this stuff. HELP PLZ?!

rooting does nothing to phone, it gives you access to system files, that's it
if system files were changed/ removed or a custom rom was flashed you need to flash a .sbf file
Using RSD Lite to flash a .SBF to restore (Stock Rom)

    or DX (MB810) ezSBF 2.3.4/4.5.621

after flashing the sbf, phone will be unrooted
