Aol email not syncing on any rom?

As of yesterday I cannot get my phone to sync aol mail. I can manually sync the mail and the latest mail comes up but there is an error message every time I try to sync or refresh that says "connection error" I have tried loading and unloading the email app. I went back to my "stock" backup when I first rooted and I cannot get it to update past the 21st. I tried unrooting wit zroot and rebooting the phone but it got me no where. Any suggestions?

I actually added aol mail on my phone today and its working just fine. I added it with the the email app in the drawer.

Yea I had my aol added from the phone default email app and now it is not working...that is the problem
