Bootloader 30.04 Battery Low Cannot Program

Well.. this just bites. I was hoping someone ran into this problem if so how to fix? I have the phone plugged into a wall charger and it is not charging the battery at all ..

    It says Bootloader 30.04
    Err: A5,70,00,00,23

    Battery Low
    Cannot Program.

It keeps flashing then doing a loop to Motorola symbol then back to bootloader screen

Any idea how to UNBRICK this beast? i had tried to Sbf the phone to .340 and i may have had low battery from the get go.

gotta find another way to charge it. thats ur problem.

split a USB cord, find a friend with a DX, or buy an external charger

I have the phone plugged into a charger.. it is the factory charger. I tried two different chargers with no luck. This charger at least has it go to a bootloader screen.

any ideas? or did battery get so low that it went toes up?

The phone won't charge while on bootloader, that's why Abe suggested another battery or an external charger. Sorry

You need a fully charged battery to flash SBF. If you are impatient, Abe's idea of stripping USB wires is a good one. I did it and it worked beautifully. I won't be more specific than that because if I need to be, then you shouldn't be doing it Good luck and Merry Christmas.

Edit: OK, so one tip, I used masking tape to affix the correct USB wires to the appropriate terminals on the battery. I left charging for 10 minutes, then installed battery and still affixed USB wires into phone (while still plugged into charger). Um, yeah, that kinda reminds me of Indiana Jones stepping out onto the bridge (leap of faith) in one of the movies. I just closed my eyes and hoped it didn't sizzle the phone Be sure to tape up the two unused wires so they don't contact each other or anything.

You can google if you want pics and detail because there is a post somewhere where I read and copied the method. Was 1am and I didn't want to wait until the day time to get up and running.
Or, just buy an external charger and be down for a few days while you wait for it to ship.

Or, buy an ext battery. You really need one anyway and I bet it comes fully charged. OK, bed now.

Yes, i did get it running! Just flashed the happy holidays zip containing the 2.3 sbf and phone did its thing, i dialed *228 and now i have a fully functioning phone again. its fantastic.

Still very hesitant to do the root again though. Almost want to wipe the phone completely clean of any evil root files. but at the same time the Apex 1.3 is sounding so enticing.

    Charging Alternative

I received the message below minus the Err: A5,70,00,00,23

    My Error was:
    Bootloader 30.04
    Battery Low
    Cannot Program.

I was able to charge with my car rapid charger.
Tried charging in house and PC charger w/o luck.
Worked w/o me going the stripping a USB wire or buying another battery(last resorts)
