    Exclamation help with installing CM7 on droid x

    Hi ive been trying to install cyanogenmod 7 on my friends droid x and every time the install aborts. Is there something that I am missing that you need to do? i have tried several different versions of cm7, from the official site and forums. I have sucessfully put other roms on the phone so its not an issue with a bad root.

    sounds like your trying to put an official build on gingerbread... the official builds not get updated to the ginger kernel... you need to grab the one from... updated info about rev... over on rootzwiki
