Which rom gets best battery life? Noob question.

I am trying to have my battery (not extended) last longer than an iPhone -_- any suggestions to what rom and apps?

Liberty or vortex, IMO....atevyou going to use it or just try to make it last longer lol? Jakebite mod, is a good one to use

VorteX with conservative governor gives me great battery life. Shuji 2.5 has even better battery life but I think its not available to download anymore.

I've flashed nearly every version of every rom that's out there.. & I must say, that I've gotten the best batt life from liberty 3.

Enough that let me pull out 24+ hours on normal usage days with auto brightness turned on.

i have been on every ROM also and must say for me, apex and darkslideX have got me the best battery life, besides running bone stock and undervolted. But pretty much any non 2nd init ROM will give you good battery life. I use qUick clock and undervolt and run the stock speeds. I also use juice defender. Which let's you kill your data when the screen is turned off. Those are my tricks. My Droid x and iPod touch last about the same amount of time. But playing any type of game on either destroys the battery pretty quick.

I ran shuji 2.5 for a week and was very impressed. The battery life was by far better than any I have ran. I am running vortex right now and it looks like it is going to be as good. I have went 1 1/2 days on shuji and am doing the same on vortex
