Clean Droid X nandroid
I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR WHATEVER HAPPENS TO YOUR PHONE!!!
This is a clean nandroid, as in STOCK.
BUT, it does have root. As of now, I don't know of any other way to get a clean backup that doesn't have root.
1. Put the file into clockworkmod/backup/>NANDROID GOES HERE<
2. Boot into Clockwork.
3. Restore the name should have a .52 at the end. You can change the name if you'd like.
4. Restore from that, and reboot.

Cool atleast its some kind of backup.
This has all of the bloatware and everything?
That is correct. From what I am understanding, it is a completely stock recovery. So if you have done ANYTHING to your phone, and flash this back onto it, you will be stock fresh, like the time you first open the beautiful Droid X box and removed the phone...

I just need stock 2.1 so I can use the leaked 2.2 update (have some themed files that cause errors)
Most, if not all, of us (myself included) did not lose anything. What happened was the bloatware came back. That was enough to be able to update to leaked 2.2

also op you are more than welcome to "jack" this link
I bought a used phone and it looks like the previous owner rooted the phone. I just realized that the 3G Hotspot is missing and I am having issues connecting to my work email. I would like to do a complete restore with Dustin's file I downloaded but I am not clear how to get this back on the phone based on the first post.
Any help would be great.
i think that link is dead. pls reupload!
