hi guys this will be my very first post or reply, so i apologize if this is wrong. so i have a droid x, now 2.3.4 and a recent update from verizon inwhich i had to reroot my phone. well anyway i used to wor for verizon but do not anymore so the obvious i got my devices flashed over to cricket , i would say 90% as well and 1/3 of the price. so droid x, up to latest date been rooted twice and got stuck in bootloop twice (currently =( )first stuck had to take in 60bucks , currently i have an amazing friend sent me the above file howewever-anyway i would try to install, it would almost then an error comes up
E: Signature verification failed". Installation Aborted. each time someone plz help?

Please don't flash this. This is for an older version of Android and System of the Droid X.

And it sounds like you are in stock recovery anyways, not custom recovery.

well wow all of these jargons, but im keeping up better then i thought. . so there cutom recovery, stock, and overclock recovery? well whichever recovery i am in or go to its the one with the lil droid dude and the triangle and it gives me four options: am i at the wrong one and if so which one do i need? andhowdo i get there? thnks

Take some time to peruse the forums and do some reading. There is a wealth of info here. It will be a lot easier from a computer as well when try to do some research and reading.

I am going to close this thread because it it pretty much irrelevant now and is not compatible with the newer android and system versions on the DX.

If you have further questions, please feel free to start your own thread in the appropriate place and our awesome community will further direct you in the right direction. You will also get more responses this was instead of posting on an old thread.
