hi im kind of new to think and just rooted my phone, so im trying to figure out if roms are compatible with all themes if not how does the compatability works cause im kind of cornfuse, my thinking is that any them works with any rom. but i dont know the science of that so need help trying to figure this out...
i put your two threads together since theres no reason to have both.
all ROMs have bugs, just gotta read the comments on each individual thread. same for themes - see what people are applying and how it went. sometimes roms will have a list of themes that are compatible with it..

I'm running Focus 1.8.6 and it is very fast and smooth. I haven't run in to any problem areas yet but the dev is very quick to fix things if necessary.

rubixFocused 1.8.6 here as well. It's Blurless so you lose the blur functions of the camera, dialer, contacts, etc. some can be put back tho. It's a very fast & clean ROM, especially coupled with DX overclock.

Seriously man, you need to research more. There is so much info on the web about ROMs and their capabilities. You need to figure out if you want Blur, blur-less or even minimal Blur; whether you want things like built in OC or UV; even something as small as which Launcher u like the best. YOu are not going to get an answer in this thread, cowboy up and get on the web and Research.
For EliteCommander666:
I sympathize with your plight. I'm no expert at this at all. I started using Droids in Auugst, bought the Droid X in September - began rooting in late September and since then I've been attempting different ROMs to see what I like and what I don't. Do yourself a favor and make sure to get the recent copy of SBF and RSD Lite ( you will need those to get your phone back to stock if things get out of hand). Trying different ROMs is fun, the folks here have put out some really good information. All you have to do is take that first step of faith and know that you have a safety net. Take your time though, you have to proceed at a pace that you feel comfortable with. Don't let anyone 'bully or insult' you into moving faster if you're not ready. Not everyone takes to Droid the same way and let's be real here, changing the way a phone works may not be rocket science but it's not Tiddlywinks either. Follow the links earlier in the forum, read through the entries and find out what you think you'll like. If it's not for you don't do it. Remember also that there's no such thing as a stupid question - this forum is here to be a help to you. Enjoy the journey my friend.
Have used every rom available on the internet for my x. Fission by Team Defuse blows them all out of the water.
