Need less annoying alarm tones and don't want to have to turn them off

I see that everyone else wants MORE anoying alarms but maybee someone can help me. I use alarms to keep my little ADD brain on schedule throughout the day. My old phone had lovely pleasant musical tones that would go off to tell me when I needed to be aware of the time throughout the day. Now I have this blasted smart phone and it has me all befuddled.

#1: I need something that when it goes off in public it doesn't make everyone give me that nasty look.

#2: I need it to go off and stop automatically NOT require me to fumble through my purse or search across the room to find it and turn it off.

I use mp3s for my alarms. Currently mine is hazards of love 4 by the decemberists, very nice to wake up to. I can't stand actual alarm clock noises.

Ringlert and zedge have some good alerts. I haven't explored much because I was soon hooked on a contra notification.

The Amazon free app of the day is the Gentle Alarm Clock....I think. Check it out. It might work for you.

I considered trying the gentle alarm app, but when I went to install it popped up a warning that it would replace an existing app. def not cool in my book, what if I don't like it? amazon app store is still lacking in usability considerations and I don't care for these sneaky little things that change more than I expect.
