TUT Keeping Ringtones out of Music Player

I haven't seen this posted in DXF yet so i decided to let everyone having this problem know. Sorry if this has been posted before. I'm new to this forum so please correct me if i am posting in the wrong area thanks.

Okay so i was having issues with my ringtones i made with ringdroid and the ringtones were going into my music player and it was annoying when i listened to music.

So make a folder called Media/Audio/Ringtones and add a empty txt file named .nomedia. to the ringtones folder. Also if you have the Notification and Alarm folder you might have to do the same. I haven't tested the Notification and Alarm folder as i have no ringtones in these folders yet.

So anyways this worked for me, hope it works for you.
