    Possibly Bricked X

So i was tryin to flash a rom, to a rooted .621 updated DX, screwed up somthing, now when phone boots up,
    this is what i see......

    Bootloader
    30.04
    Err:A5,70,00,00,23

    Battery Ok
    Ok to program
    Connect USB
    Data Cable

I was reading a newer .....brick???.... thread and tried what was suggested there but it wont at recognize that the phone is connected.
I really hope it can be fixed, i had a full battery when I was attempting flash and have a full backup battery as well.
If anybody could help me ASAP i would really appreciate it and would be able to donate to someone or something.

    THanks in advance,
    DrewX

So you were already on .621 before you started to flash that rom?

You'll need the .621 SBF file from here https://sites.google.com/site/motosbf/droid-x-sbf-files (all the way at the bottom)

And here Complete Droid X .sbf Flashing Guide is a guide for how to use RSD Lite.

If this doesnt work or the method you have tried there is one other option. Post back.

Edit: If you weren't already on .621 then don't use the links i provided as there is no going back.

yes i was already on .621,
i was trying to flash the liberty 3 rom,
it was supposed to be made for gingerbread 2.3.4 which was the .621 update
    i believe....

i think i just did the steps wrong....
its funny i used to be able to flash the captivates and fascinates from att real quick and easy, but that was before froyo even came out, this is my first Motorola phone and probably my last...but its been quite a trip trying to just root this DX let along flash roms and .sbfs.....

im just waiting on the download of the .sbf file now....Damn slow internet...

Which root did you use? This would be the easiest [How To] Root 4.5.621 with magic md5 (does not require Milestone SBF)

    H
ere are all the Blur based roms patched for .621 [ROMs] Multi-ROM Thread - Blur-Based ROMs for those on .621/.604! (ignore the recovery tree and stuff at top and scroll down the first post a little bit.) Other than these ROMs you can flash any of the other 2nd Init roms like the Ice Cream Sandwich ones.

Edit: Oh yea i meant to tell you, igonore the SBF file they are using in the guide for how to SBF i linked to earlier. Make sure drivers are installed on your computer, use the stock cable that came with the phone and if you have trouble downloading the 4.8 RSD Lite just google "download rsd lite" because there are newer versions out and some work better for people than others. After the SBF is done you may need to wipe data from stock recovery if you bootloop. If you don't bootloop then you will be good to go.

You should have used the Linux .ISO. You will need to take it to a store and have them reflash it to cricket now. (There is a way to manually hack/convert it back, but it can be tricky and break the radio if you dont know what you're doing, and im not 100% familiar with it.)

    Sorry.

This thread is a little old, but it walks you through flashing Cricket.

Say buh-bye to VZW: Flashing your Droid X to Cricket or MetroPCS
