HELP: Stuck in bootloop Droid x in upgrade to CM9 beta

I accidentally didn't wipe data/cache before installing CM9 beta from CM7 nightly.

Please help. I think I might need to do a reset... but I can't do the power+volume down. Nothing comes up

boot into clockwork recovery doesn't work.

android recovery does work but it does nothing...

battery pull results in the same problem.

I can boot into android system recovery through power+home

i get the triangle and android guy... i hit both volume buttons, nothing happens.

if i hit search button i get:

it gives me the screen:
reboot (which doesn't help)
apply sdcard:update.zip (no such file exists)
wipe data/factory reset (tried this, still issue persists)
wipe cache partition (no clue what this means)

Maybe try to wipe data/factory reset?

I did that and the issue didn't go away... :-(

I'm surprised that I can't get into clockword mod recovery.

Did you solve that problem ? I got the same problem, I cant get in Clockwork recovery and every time I reboot from stock recovery I'm getting into bootloader. If you know how to solve that problem please write in a post !

Yes. I flashed my 605 sbf file or something like that. Worked like a charm. Then I accidentally upgraded to .621! Stuck again. Tried sbfing again like previously, but it didn't work. I had to download and flash the .621 .sbf file. Then from there I rooted the .621 (using the linux method) into milestone .604. And now I am waiting till the CM9 stable version comes out. I only likely ICS based ones and I LOVED CM7, but I want working camera and wifi and everything. I heard there are some that have those fixes. Not sure. It's been quite a mess with my phone lately, and I'm just taking some time off before I get into another mess again!

Try sbfing to 605. If that doesn't work, let me know.
