Stuck in Bootloader After Getting Wet

I have had this X for probably about 9 months without use because I gave up. We went up to Mt. Rainier climbed it on our slide down the phone got damp. We got to the bottom of the mountain and let it dry. Got home then put it in rice as well as the battery. Thought it was going to work turned it on and it still didn't but at least this time it went right to bootloader. I figured that I could SBF and get another rom flashed on there in no time and we'd be back up and running. No luck, tried 3 roms. Tried EVERYTHING.
I have read all over this website and others about similar issues but nobody gave a direct answer.
Is there actually something I can do? I have't tried a new battery but the battery worked so I figured that wasn't the issue.
Any news someone possibly getting a definite answer would be great. Otherwise I'll eBay it for parts.
