if not an issues, use WPA2 for security. seems to connect better. also, did you set your router to only broadcast one signal, like N or G only?

I dont mean to sound annoying but Im not too familiar with this stuff. LIke terms wise lol. But i have a microsoft router, I do know how to access the router page for my router but from there its like jibberish to me
I have put the droid in recovery, factory reset it, as well as wiped the cache, still nothing.
does the wireless in the Droid X work else where like at work or at a coffee shop nearby that has free wireless? It could be the phone, but you will need to rule out that it won't connect to other wireless networks also.

Yes works with my neighbors as well, I have 2 droid x's neither will work. Please help me!![]()
I had a similar problem and something that seemed to fix most of the problem was turning ssid broadcast back on in the router. I normally keep it off for better security, but the dx doesn't seem to like that.
I even tried turning ssid on, connecting, and then turning ssid broadcast off again and the problem returned.

yea that setting is turned on and still nothing , it will connect but doesnt do anything on droid
See if you can Google your router's model and your phone and see if there are any other sites with members having the same issues. Sounds like a router issue and the Droid X don't like it. I can maybe guess that it might be the security, if your network is open then maybe a way its being broadcast.
What is the model and name of the router you have?
