That should be a last resort lol, from what I have heard, that can be dangerous and might go against your carrier's ToS. Who knows, I would try SBF first and see where that gets ya.

Like I said, log onto your online Verizon account, and if you MEID is still active, then your phone should still show up on your account as active right?

I know my MEID but my phone doesn't display my meid when going into settings, I can't ota since no service, no mdn, prl, meid, network etc. Everything just shows up as unknown. I think I am just going to upgrade it cause I can't find a way to fix it and doesn't seem to find a way to program my meid and network information back into the phone.

I swapped my phone to a basic flip phone for now (almost the end of the world) but may just hold out till new phone next month.

Did you try SBF? Would have like to have known if that might have solved it. Too bad this had to happen...

It's highly unlikely that your phone is permanently damaged, especially not from clearing a cache, I'd definitely use 1KDS's method before throwing in the towel entirely: Linux solution to your Windows/RSD lite problems It's really easy and only takes about 10 mins.
We'll keep our fingers crossed for you, the clamshell could ruin your life!

Yeah really, try an sbf first. Well only if you're on the .12p radio because it needs to be downgraded for it to actually reset your prl, min, and mdn. Well that's how it worked for me at least.
