Two questions on sbf and data wipe:

    1. Does sbf restore apps that were deleted? In other words, can I go ahead and delete the bloat instead of just freezing it, knowing the sbf will restore it if I need to return to stock?

    2. After a data wipe, I've seen people say the market will reload my apps. From what I've seen, it only retains the apps I've purchased, not free ones. Is there something I can do to get it to remember my free apps? (It does after I restore with tibu but that defeats the point, doesn't it?)

    1. Yes, SBF will restore any bloat you delete.

    2. No other way to restore free apps that I know of.

I think I really messed up. I unrooted my phone and uninstalled z4root before uninstalling DroidX Bootstrap then I did a factory reset. Now when I try to download Gingerbread through the OTA it will download but when I try to install it it goes to clockwork. I never uninstalled superuser but it's gone now. What do I need to do to get back to stock? Or what would be the easiest way to get Gingerbread for me? Does the rooted Gingerbread let you use the wireless tether? I still have it in my apps.
